Eligibility to Work - Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006


In accordance with the above act, registrations must be accompanied by your current passport* which will be copied and returned to you by Recorded Delivery. Alternatively we can accept a copy of your passport where it has been countersigned with the original signature of a professional person.**

Additionally

  • If you are a National of any of the following EU countries please let us know by circling the relevant country on the registration form so that we can ensure proper registration with the Home Office. Czech Republic/Estonia/Hungary/Latvia/Poland/Slovakia/Slovenia/Bulgaria/Romania.
  • Non EU nationals must provide copies of work permits or other approval issued by Work Permits Uk or other appropriate Government Department.

Please note that compliance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 is a statutory duty and an important issue, not only to ourselves, but to recruitment agencies and other contractor clients alike. This means that failure to provide the correct documentation at the time of registration may delay our ability to complete your registration.


*If you do not hold a current passport please contact our Customer Services Team who will be able to provide you with details of alternative documents that you can submit to provide proof of eligibility to work.

**In addition to signing the copy document, the professional person must provide their home address and/or contact number and we reserve the right to confirm the legitimacy of the information provided with the person concerned.


For the purpose of registration professional persons include - Accountants, Solicitors, Barristers, Company Directors, Teachers, Dentists, Civil Servants, Office of the Police or Armed Forces, Nurse, Trades Union Officer.
